Amanda Hansen is a Registered Psychologist who has spent the last eight years working with adults, adolescents, and couples experiencing a range of life challenges. She is passionate about helping her clients develop therapeutic goals, and working together to achieve lasting change.
Amanda uses a combination of both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to tailor an approach suited to her client’s individual needs. Within this framework, she remains solution-focussed in her approach to counselling, and works collaboratively with clients to achieve goals. Amanda believes in the benefits of Mindfulness and taking valued action, and assists her clients to make choices guided by their values.
Amanda has completed training through the Australian Psychological Society for Perinatal Counselling, and is eligible to provide these services under Medicare. She is passionate about providing support to women experienced peri- and post- natal depression.
