Hello and thank you for visiting my profile page. My name is Alister, I am a registered psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor with experience working with clients across the lifespan in settings including schools, the disability sector, forensic, and private practice. I bring positive regard for my clients and curiosity, helping my clients to feel comfortable while we work together to develop rich, meaningful lives and overcome challenges.
I have trained in numerous evidence-based therapies with the aim of being able to offer my clients an approach to therapy they find engaging, helpful, and focused on their own goals. Some of these approaches include:

- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT)

Pre-School and School-Aged Children
I have experience working with children including neurodivergent young people and recognise the many challenges faced by our young people on their journey to adulthood. Adolescence is a particular time of challenge with many mental health conditions developing between 14 & 18 years old. I work in areas which include:
